I want to clear CPT exam in Dec2009 at any cost. But due to some personal problem i cannt take coaching.
1)How should i prepare for the exam
2) Is the Institute Study Material enough or should i go for other books?!!!

i think if u complete ur study material provided by ICAI along wd sample papers then u cn definitely clear cpt..
no need to go fr other books
You should regularly study law and economics..... Economics paper comes a bit tough in CPT....
Try to read atleast 5-6 pages of both the subjects each day... keep ur accounts and maths going side-by-side..
Be thorough with economics data like when was postal network set up, because these kind of ques are asked normally..
u should also do model test papers...just stick to study material..all d best
