Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate applicable to stock auditing services. The consensus is that stock auditing, being a pure service, is generally taxed at 18% under GST. It's also mentioned that service providers might be eligible for the composition scheme, potentially reducing the applicable rate to 6%. For definitive advice, consulting a GST expert or checking official notifications is recommended.

Hlo Ravee, for auditing purposes tax rate is 18%. Since your friend only doing stock audit services, can opt for composition scheme for service providers. Hence it only 6% will be applicable.

For stock auditing services, which are considered a type of pure service under GST, the applicable tax rate is generally 18%. This falls under professional services, including auditing and accounting, which are typically taxed at this standard rate.

However, it's always best to double-check with a GST expert or refer to the latest GST council notifications to ensure compliance with any recent changes.

GST rate would be 18%.
