stipend to articles assistants

Can any one clarify me that during the period of Leaves taken by an articled assistants is he entitled to stipend for that leave period also.

Yeah an article  entitled for the stipend during the leave period which is legally allowed but practically i dont think that even 1 article is getting the stipend for the time on which he is on leave........

  hey there is 6 months paid leave. so you have to get 6 months of stipend.As per institute rules.

can anybody provide the source about this rule .. so that i can clear my doubts easily ...

actually We are entitled for 1/6 of days we actually worked i.e total no of days (365*3.5 yrs)- 200 days ( sun days & Holidays) then it means we are entilted for 1078/6 it may comes to around 180 days .... this is the eligible leave minus the actual no of days leave taken .... assume you have taken 200 days leave.... means you need to compensate for that excess leave portion for 20 days
 

Dont know abt legal provisions, But practically I didnt receive any stipend during my leave period.

it differs from firm to firm some firm allows some dont...

an articled assistant shall not be entitiled for stipend for excess leaves taken.

i agree to Ankur, as per rules we r allowed to  get stipend bt practically very few CA follow it, ;-)

 WHY EXCESS WORKING TIMING IS NOT CONSIDERED FOR TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION LEAVE PERIOD..
