Hi Friends and Seniors,
I have cleared my PE2 in November 2008 (and had discontinued CA course due to some financial reasons) After which i was working with an MNC and getting good salary. But now i have decided to continue with CA so i m searching a CA for articleship training. I m confused about what Stipend should i demand ?
as i m a commerce graduate and had worked with a well known company can i demand upto 10K.
Please Guide. I have to attend some interviews tomorrow.
Man, i never knew that an article can also ask for stipend's amount..
Actually, institute has decided minimum of 1250 p.m. for every FINALS article. Now, any CA himself can decide whether he wants to pay that much or more, depending upon the work he allotts to his articles....... I don't know whether any article can demand or not for more
Actually the thing is that i dont know about the procedure. Is it mandatory that we wil have to accept whatever the CA gives.

f course dude..u cant demand for stip. 1st f all..On top f dat,10k is actually IMPOSSIBLE!!
No CA can give this much specially for article student.....................................
Padmapriya, 10K is a big, but not impossible,,,......... Big 4 firms still geiv mor than 12k p.m..., so its not a that big deal.........
Agreed with Mr. Dhiraj.... I don't think that v, as an article assistants are allowed to ask for stipend...
if u are joining as an articled clerk, u can not demand higher stipend.
but u can show ur experience and if ur principal wish to give more, u can get.
else search for one who is prepared to give high
Stipend is decided by institude.

hi.. approach big firms as they can pay u dat much.. its not a big deal 4 larger firms to pay 10k.... actually startin stipend is around Rs 9000 or more.. all d best.
You can definetely get 10000 p.m. but there are certain risks like 1) additional Time, 2) If u join big firm then you r not going to get different kinds of work....3) If he is paying u 10000 as a stipend he can demand more work from urside.
U can get but, be careful that it can harm ur studies........ALL THE BEST
In Mumabi city basic is 3k, and the big firms basic is 5k
