Either way create all the inventory master or manage your stock as suited to you, your business. If you wanna merge all the tiny stocks in one ledger then do it in the same way on both sides, purchase as well as sales .

You create 1 ledger for some tiny inventories, right?? then punch the same record in purchases as well as sales. If you show one different item in purchases &  different in sales then it might imbalance your inventory ledgers. Better to create masters for all the stocks if you would not manage it.
