Statutary bank audit 2015

Dear all

I am a category IV auditor. My name was there in the final panel forwarded to RBI by ICAI. I havent received any call or email yet from any bank. What to do ?

So far informed list is final only branch allotment is pending.

Institute or RBI should display the list of the firms selected by banks.

There is no scope for us to check whether our firm name considered or not.

So far not received any call / mail from any bank. 

I have gone thru the guidelines and I am of the opinion that during the tenure of 3 / 4 years (as applicable to SCA / SBA), Banks cannot remove the continuing auditors unless any disciplinary proceedings are pending or in case of any adverse remarks against SCA / SBA. Further, the guidelines uses the words 'continuing auditors' and 'new auditors'. From the above, one can conclude that consent is not required from the continuing auditors.

As because we are under 'new auditor' so this year also thanda...... thanda ......cool ....cool...........
