Status of st3 in aces portal - some questions.

Friends,

We filed the ST 3 service tax return for the 3 month period July to September 2012 on 3^rd April 2013. The due date is 15^th April 2013. Till now, the system at service tax portal shows ‘uploaded’. It will be deemed to be accepted when the status changes from ‘uploaded’ to ‘filed’. Why it is taking such a long time is not known to me.

Any of you are having similar experiences. Any action is needed from my end. What happens if the status is rejected after 15th April or one day before.

Kindly send the mail from the assessee email id to the ACES help desk regarding the problem. In case, if return not filed, there will be a proof from our end that delay is not due to us and there is no applicability of penal provisions.
