We filed the ST 3 service tax return for the 3 month period July to September 2012 on 3rd April 2013. The due date is 15th April 2013. Till now, the system at service tax portal shows ‘uploaded’. It will be deemed to be accepted when the status changes from ‘uploaded’ to ‘filed’. Why it is taking such a long time is not known to me.
Any of you are having similar experiences. Any action is needed from my end. What happens if the status is rejected after 15th April or one day before.
