As I am doing self study for Audit, I have a query regarding Standards on auditing that do I have to read both SA ie SA200 Basic principles governing an aduit as well as SA200 (Revised) overall objectives of the independent aduitor and the conduct of an audit in accordance with standards on auditing (on or after April 1,2010) or only the revised one? Pls suggest am confused?

After revised one, old become irelevant. ICAI is aligning Indian Standards with International Auditing Standard. The numbers of international standards and Indian standardsa are same same now excpet prefix used in International standard on auditing is ISA and Indian is SA.
