I have only bank FD's interest income. Is the bank interest eligible for standard deduction

U will be eligible for the tax slab applicable for individual moreover you can invest and claim deductions under 80c also

only senior and super senior can claim deduction up to RS 50,000 U/S 80TTB from AY 2019-20

In the absence of salary and pension, one can claim standard deduction from the total interest income besides 80 TTB in case of senior citizens
