Hi friends we have received a notice for non payment of stamp duty on share certificates issued, demanding amount of duty with penalty of 10times of duty now please tell me what should i do i.e. whether there is any remedy available for this.

The Penalty can be waived by the competent authority on being shown a sufficient cause.....
