What was the Stamp Duty on Share Certificates in Maharashtra in 2007. Was it only Rs. 1/- of Revenue Stamp on each Certificate irrespective of Value?
As at present, the Stamp Duty is Rs. 1/- each per Rs.1000/-. Please Advice.

As per my knowledge it is 1% of the value shares, scriptts or stocks as per the Maharashtra Stamp act,1958.
