Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether stamp duty is payable when directors of a private limited company retire and new directors are appointed. The consensus is that changing directors does not typically incur stamp duty. Stamp duty is generally payable at the time of the initial property transaction or for subsequent transfers/sales, not for changes in directorship.
Stamp duty to be paid at the time of txn itself ,change of director doesn't attract at all any stamp duty ,if it's subsequent transfer/sale then stamp duty implication will arise !
