Stamp duty & registration charges exemption @income tax

Sir,

I have purchased property in March-2015 and paid  stamp duty of Rs.68600/-dt.30/3/15 + dt.30/3/15 registration fee of Rs.14350, but i have not taken Income Tax exemption / Deduction u/s 80C in FY 2014-15, so can i take this Deduction u/s 80C in current FY 2015-16 ??.

You have to take in the relevant Financial year only.

File for rectification and  mention  assesse is changing  Chapter VI-A schedule.

Since  it involves  further deduction  and  results in more refunds -THIS MAY BE SENT TO YOUR JURISDICTION AO.  Once email comes that it has been sent to your AO.

Take a xerox copy of stampduty and registration  fee.  Take a print out of  143 assesment order and submit with forwarding letter and take appropriate acknowledgement.
