We have asked to pay pre GST arrears as service tax payment on legal and consultancy charges under RCM from CGST department. We agreed for payment.
How to make payment on gst regime and procedure for availing ITC for that amount may please be clarify 🙏

1st calculate the RCM mechanism tax amount then paid that amount, thereafter u will claim itc.
No ITC can be claimed for pre GST payments as the same could be claimed only on filing TRAN-1.
