St on transportation
we are manufacturers, are we liable to pay ST under below circumstances a. In sales invoice, freight is mentioned
b. In sales invoice, nothing is mentioned, we make full payment to supplier.
In both cases we have ordered the material inclusive of transportation and supplier is supposed to manage to deliver material to our factory premises.

No Since the transportation is managed by your suppliers, who are recovering the amount from you as it is on CIF basis. Here the liability to make freight payment is of the suppliers so your supplier is liable for service tax on transportation under reverese charge mechanism.
