I filed an ST-3 using excel utility provided. On uploading xml file, I clicked on save button, instead of submit. Few hrs later the status shown is FILED. I have following queries:

Do I require to send a signed copy of ST-3 to department. If yes then do let me know which file should I use to take printouts from. What will constitute the acknowledgement for filing the return?
The assessee has a different premises registered with different STC in some other city. Does the assessee require to creat a separate account for this premises for filing online ST-3 or the same account can be used for the same. In case the same account can be used, how will the second require will be filed for the same period?

1.No Sir., No need to Send to Service Tax Dept. and all ...Once the return showed as filed, the process is over..Ur return successfully filed..

2.Since u r saying the premises has got different Service Tax Code.,u need to register for the premises situated in the another city..If two or more services has been done in One premises.,u can file all the return in the same STC itself....I'm not 100% sure.,U can get a clear idea if u made a Call to Service Tax help desk...If u r in Chennai this s the help desk number for the Dept. in Chennai 24323017..
