At present Tally 9 Auditor edition is free for practising CAs (Firm registered under ICAI).

i have received a mail from bap @ tallysolutions that tally9.erp version for ca's will cost rs. 8100 only. pls clear the following:

Please explain what is the difference between normal Tally 9 and Tally.ERP 9.

What is Auditors’ Edition of Tally .ERP 9.

What is Remote Access capabilities.

Shall I be able to maintain accounts in this tally of all my clients.

Will you upgrade it free of cost whenever there is newer version of Tally.

Pls. revert……

What is new in Tally.ERP 9

Major Changes:

1 New Remote user login via Tall.Net facility so Tally data can be accessed from anyone's PC through an internet connection.

2 New inbuilt Control center to control to whom you want to give access and New Support Center to send queries and problems faced by sending via email and maintaing a log of all complaints and their status in Tally itself.

3 New colour combination and new sections in bottom bar\window with quick help features from bottom window.
