SPECIAL DUTY ALLOWANCE IS TAXABLE OR NOT

My basic is 39900 . I got SDA of 3990 per month I. e. 47880 in a year as I am in all india service in meghalaya.
That amount is taxable or can be exempted.

The amount is taxable. However you can claim some other amount as exempt being expenses incurred in performance of official duties
