Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether short-term capital gains (STCG) are taxable if they fall below the Rs. 2,50,000 income tax exemption limit. The consensus is that if your total income, including STCG, remains under this threshold, no tax is payable on the STCG. While STCG and general income tax calculations are separate, losses can be carried forward.

No need to pay tax when your total income including STCG is below minimum threshhold limit.

Both are different and not that much interlinking so as you make loss you can carryforward loss
calculate m payable for short term is different
