        =1 Paisa *100 Paisa

Converted into Rs.

        =.01 Rs * 1 Rs

        =.01 Rs

Converted into paisa

        = 1 Paisa

So funny na

Yes it is a mathematical illusion.

1Rs. =100 paisa

        =1 Paisa *100 Paisa

above step is incorrect cuz,

100 paisa = 1 *100 paisa. (its not 1 paisa * 100 paisa...)

yaa its really an illusion

above step is incorrect cuz,

100 paisa = 1 *100 paisa. (its not 1 paisa * 100 paisa...)

 now tell me 1*100 =100

the both figure value is equal not 1 is rs and 1 is paisa

so 1 paisa *100 paise is right figure

Let me tell u in simple way...

100 paisa = 100 paisa * 1. i.e take 100 paisa 1 time.

if u take 100 paisa = 100 paisa * 1 Paisa that means take 100 paisa 1 paisa time. which has no meaning.

we multiply curruncy by only number. other wise,

100 paisa * 1 Paisa = 100 paisa square....:)

Yaar  these are all mathematical illusions as said by Sanjay Sir

One more for you

1 = (1)1/2

= [ (-1)(-1)] 1/2

= (-1)1/2 (-1)1/2

= i *  i

= i square

= -1 so it proves

1= -1

i feel this as mathematical illusion but not above because

100 paisa * 1 Paisa = 100 paisa square bt in that he took it as 100 paisa only

Nice post krishna but there is a flaw

U have cancelled (a-b) and (a-b) on both sides

if a=b the a-b = 0 and according to me u can cancel two zeros with each other.

Correct me as may be I am wrong..!!

oh  god..wat a serious calculations are going on here :D

nice post..........

Yaar kya karun maths mera fav. subject rha hai. i wala question actually IIT ka q's tha...!!

Now Lets check another Mathematical Illusion:

To prove   1=2

Let, x=y

or, 2x-x=2y-y

or, 2x-2y=x-y

or, 2(x-y)=x-y

or, 2=1

Nice behas between u all members.  keep it up
