Sir, cannot upload the return for ay 2017-18 for aadhar details?

Call helpline (1800 4250 0025) of Income tax for any solution........ File complain under E-Nivaran, after Login

And Wait for any notification from CBDT.......

Sir, my sister had left india on 10th March

She does not have aadhar card

She will return only in January.2018

Now, i am unable to E-file her return without aadhar card (Note : She can't enroll as she is outside India currently)

Kindly advise what to do

File complaint at your jurisdictional ITO stating the fact, with a request to allow ITR to be filed in PAPER mode. (For assessee from Assam & Meghalaya)

For others........ Return can be filed online from any corner of the world, if PAN is linked with Aadhar.

Or file belated return till March, 2018; but pay any tax due before  ... to avoid interest payment.

(By the way, you could have filed it before July....... knowing the reason)

My sister's return is Having a Tax Refund of Rs.12,200

So will there be any interest/penalty if i file Belated Return in January , 2018 for the Assessment Year 2017-18 ? 

@ Tanmay........... question of interest payable in case of refund case does not apply.....

While a penalty clause has been inserted in finance act, 2017; but that is effective from AY 2018-19.....     So, relax.......... for AY 2017-18... there won't be penalty if filed before March, 2018
