signature of principle in exam-form

plz tell whether sign of principle-ca is necessary in the exam-form (for PCE) to prove 15 months training cmpltn... i am not registered under anyone currently, as such, i hav got no principle-ca... however, i hav got an acknwlgmnt-letter of the icai to prove 22 months training... plus, hav also got the marksheet of pce nov 08, which i had give, but unfortunately cudnt clear... so plz tell if i can make do without the principle-ca's sign...???
