The Council, at its 283rd meeting held from 18th to 20th December, 2008 at Mussoorie, has, under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 16 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, appointed Shri T. Karthikeyan, Director and Acting Secretary as the Secretary of the Institute w.e.f. 19th December, 2008.
