I am regularly investing in mutual fund thru sip. one L&T mutual fund portal in which I am investing is taken over by HSBC mutual fund company Some of units are shown as sale of units which are reflected in AIS of income tax portal whereas I have not sold any units.
Is it correct to show sale and how to reflect in itr.

Give appropriate FEEDBACK in AIS
Not necessarily it will be given.

Rather than checking the entries in the AIS for MF investments, generate the capital gains statement from the RTA for the L&T or HSBC MF. MF RTA is usually CAMS or KFintech and both websites provide the capital gains statement for your MF folios. Update ITR based on the capital gains statement.
