Hi,
My final  modules has arrived and till now I've only have a feel of how much a paritcular study material weights, and believe me only Accounts and MICS are the least weighty.Kindly advice me wheather I should think of joining any CA firm or a company while pursuing the finals or will it be wise to take any coaching and start preparing for the finals at home.Kindly advice me since I'm confused.
Bye

hi pranjal

i am not a CA. But i think u should concentrate purely on ur studies to clear the exams. and for this u should do whatever u think fit.

That's my view.

Thanks

Hi guest,
Thank you very much for your advice. However many of my senior friends are of the view that without practical flavour CA course have no value. So that also leads to the confusion a very much.I expect more advices from others particularly those doing the CA course.
Hi Pranjal,

I think you should join a CA firm.It is true that without practical flavour CA has no value.Besides , this the only time that u can learn Auditing Taxation etc.If u start with a CA firm u will have unlimited oppurtunities as a CA, but if u join a Company right now , then u will be learning only one type of work.U might get kinda typecast with a particular industry. I think ultimately everyone is inclined towards industry coz of the big money, but working in a CA firm is more interesting & challenging so i would suggest u join a CA firm, atleast for the time being.
As far as preparetory leave is concerned u will get enough leave to appear for both groups in a CA firm. This might not be there in a Co. There is no need to worry as ur attempt is far away.

Best Of Luck

Regards,

Anuj
Hi Pranjal,
Just Concentrate on CA Finals Exams, if you are unable to clear exams in first attempt then experience will not count much. Also CA requires 8-10 hours daily study and with training , you will not be able to do so.

hi!! pranjal.. no two thoughts about one fact that the industry people are not foolish.. if u have no work exp.. you'll be fired out sooner or later.. one thing i can suggest is TIME MANAGEMENT.. manage your time in such a manner that you can do both things simultaneously... me being experienced tellin you this... hope you too understand the demand its QUALITY not QUANTITY..
