Should i continue?

Hi, I have passed my b.com in 2012 and I have applied for IPCE May, 2014. I passed CPT but didn't think of continuing this degree. However, I did apply for exams a few times before but didn't appear even once since I never took it seriously. Will those be counted as attempts? And if yes, will it affect my chances at a job after I become a C.A even if I clear IPCC this May and clear final in the first attempt.

No.. those attempts wont affect but those r considered as attempts... better u take it serious.. don't play with your career... whatever you do..do it with full dedication... prepare well... all the best.

My Suggestion:

Why dont you continue the course?

Yes, since you applied for the exam, whether you appeared or not, it will be counted as attempt for the number times you have applied.

What you dint take seriously was matter of past, think on how to complete the course rather than bothering about your job, cos you still have lot of chance to get the best jobs if you clear the final in the first attempt. Plus, attempts whether, first or second, dont prioritise much in CA

Also, it doestnt really matter in the long run of how much your attempt is and whether first or second attempt. All that matters ultimately is you pass CA

All the best

Thanks for the replies! If the no. of attempts doesn't affect my job prospects then definitely I'll pursue it seriously.
