SHORT CAPITAL GAIN DEEMED

Sir,

As per  the share broker's statement there was a net short term capital gain and Net Long term Capital gain Loss i.e., 6500/- is short term gain and 6000/- as long term Loss. Can I declare it in Deemed Short term and Deemed Long term capital gain in itr 2 Form?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to report capital gains and losses in the ITR 2 form. Specifically, it addresses a user's query about declaring a net short-term capital gain alongside a net long-term capital loss. The advice given is to fill in the relevant columns accurately rather than using 'deemed' categories, ensuring correct tax filing.

No. Need to fill the relevant columns.

Thank you sir, I complete with relevent columns and filed return.

Happy to learn that.

Good filing...
