Dear Sir,
I am working as an article assistant under a reputed firm in Kolkata from last seven months but due to the shifting of my fathers job in Raniganj (i.e.in West Bengal) my whole family is shifting there. So, would you please help me out by giving me your views that it is possible to continue my articleship training under a new Chartered Firm in Raniganj without changing my registration as a student in Kolkata's C.A. Institute as i want to give my exams in Kolkata itself.

sorry buddy for the interuption.... but it is not possible to change from one firm to another ... as the institute has amended a new rule that an article cannot change his firm... he shuld like think and then decide the firm which he wanna join.... so you better write to the board in delhi only requiring for futher details...

hey i don't think that the new rule on restriction of transfer has come into force. Anyways even if u register underr a new firm in Raniganj u can always write ur exem from anywhere in India. All u need to do is while filling up the examination form u can always opt for the centre from where u want to write the exams.
