I AM USEING WINDOWS XP SP2.
CAN I LOCK MY SHARING FOLDER TO PRIVENT TO OPEN AND EDIT THE FILES BY OTHER PERSON.
ONLY A PERSON CAN OPEN , EDIT AND SAVE IT WHOM I PROVIDE MY PASSWORD.
PL INFORM COMPLITE PROCESS.

There are many software available on the net. Its called "Folder Lock". You can lock the any kind of personal files and folders using password.
Regarding Windows XL, you can protect your files using password. Means, anyone can view the file but can not modify.
