Quick Summary
This discussion explores how to sell shares that were allotted to a minor granddaughter two years ago. The original poster is seeking advice on the process and potential tax implications, especially as the granddaughter is still only nine years old. Options considered include waiting until she reaches the age of majority or transferring the shares to her father's name for sale, along with the tax consequences of each.

Wait till your granddaughter attains the age of majority.
Can I transfer the share in father's name (off market) and sale from father's a/c if yes what will be tax implications
