How to Study ISCA?Please Help Regarding Which Study Material,Study Strategy etc..I have been failing only for ISCA last 5 times not even getting 40+,Already got my first Group.

Thanks in Advance

The best book for ISCA is Jignesh Chedha.Try to buy that and study from it.ISCA is a theoretical subject so you might find it boring if you go on reading it in one shot but instead you should link it with the practical scenarios and while studying ISCA the approach should be of an IS Auditor as to how you will deal with the questions if you are and IS auditor.Secondly mug up wherever there are head points and exam when you get the question paper jot down the head points immediately so that you can write the content with reference to head points.ISCA is not at all difficult only important thing is you just dont have to remember the right answer but also right answer to the right question.

I never failed in ISCA. Even I became CA just because of ISCA as I got 66 marks in that subject. U can see my result in above comment. My strategy was stick to only one book. That was Institute study material. I used to write only module language to the point. If u can't remember then write the answer as many time as u want to because it is a subject more of craning than learning. I used to write entire answer 3 times in my book to reproduce institute language 90%. Not even Institute pm is enough as Now institute is asking reverse question or asking question in a different way. Many times it just paste the module line which some times becomes hard for students to see what has even been asked in the exam so many times they fail to write about the answer even if they know the solution.... In a nutshell, Stick to the module only....

Best thing to do with ISCA is to ATTACK it, rather than trying to get away.

Yes, subject is like that, accept it.

Go for ICAI study material, not even PM.

Mark previously asked question in SM, and study at least 2 times a day, be it 15 min at once.

Remove that 40+ from brain, and visualise 55+.

Good luck, my best wishes to you.

great, thank you for sharing useful information
