Are you talking abt 80C deduction? No, bec deduction of stamp duty, registration fee and other expenses for the purpose of transfer of house property is allowed only if the same is for the purpose of purchase or construction of a residential house. The income from such property is chargeable to tax under the head “income from house property”.
I bought Land this year but i am planning to construct residential house by next year end , in that case shall i get the exemption under any clause by this year itself ?
Since you are constructing a house on your own, maintain all records of expenses incurred, because this record will prove the cost of acquisition if you decide to sell this house in the future.
