Hi Manish... I am following Pattabi Ram book... I am also doing self study... Its really an apt book for self study... They give a step by step explanation for each concept...You can choose Pattabi Ram book.. I have no idea about Makkar's Notes... But i am sure u will like pattabi ram book...
