if we pay service tax with telephone bill or with courier charges thnen can we claim tht service tax amt under any head?

If we are liable to pay service tax, then you can set off it against it your liability. its the concept of cenvat credit.
If you are not liable to pay sevice tax, its just an expenditure and you can claim it in your profit and loss account.
What is the nature of business or service of the person paying such expenditure?
