I had paid the excess interest on service tax during last month.
This month i am also required to pay interest on service tax.
My question is whether i can adjust the interest amount paid in excess during last month with the interest amount of current month.??

never sir you cant set off your excess st with st interest....
you must deposit st interest @ 18% P.A. along with service tax.
edit: however why do you need to pay interest this month ... its 5th oct you should deposit st today as soon as possible without interest
