Services received from Cinema hall for clients
we have received services like movie tickets, food etc. from cinema hall for our clients located in various states. cinema hall has charged cgst and sgst . can we claim itc of the same. please clarify

For claiming GST credit, you should have received Tax Invoice from supplier of services with mention of your GST No.
No,.. you cannot claim ITC because
1. ITC is block on food & beverages under section 17(5)
2. The cenema hall will never charge you a IGST in his bill , so if you are in other state u cannot take ITC for the same (CGST/SGST)
