I have put wrong challan Number in service tax Return ST-3 & it knows after seeing the return.How it will be corrected.Can I file revise return.Because Department not accepted return due to wrong challan Number.

yes, revise the return within 90 days of filing of S.T. return....
Arora Sir, I think if return not accepted by department due to wrong challan number then why such revised return, if you file return again it should be treated as original return. Please advise if i am wrong.....

If the return is rejectd by d dept it is as good as u have not filed d return. So if u file it again it should b treated as original return.
Yes u can file d return once again ....wich wud be treated as though u hav filed it d original one....
You can correct the challan amd reupload the xml as original return. It will be accepted by the dept.
I agree with Mr. Santosh. System will not accept the wrong challan. Hence once again upload the xml. It is not revised return. It would be original return.
