CBEC notifies ST-3 Return for the period July 1, 2012 to Sept 30, 2012 to be e-filed by March 25, 2013. The electronic version of the ST-3 Return is under development and the date of its availability in ACES will be announced later. Its 25th March and not 24th April for the returns of July'12 to Sep'12 Service Tax Returns Due Date

Date Has Been Extended to 15th April 2013

As you may be aware that department had prescribed 25.03.2013 as due date for filing the service tax return (form ST-3) for the period July’12 to Sept’12.

Since form ST-3 is not available for said period on ACES, Service Tax Department has issued Order No.01/2013 dated 06.03.2012 wherein it has extended the due date for filing service tax return for said period from 25th March, 2013 to 15th April, 2013.

It has also been revealed that the Form ST-3 is expected to be available on ACES around 20th March, 2013.

AGREE WITH RAKHI.... If there is further delay in release of ST-3 utility, then we may expect another extension of the deadling. Also, the normal due date for 01-10-12 to 31-03-13 is 25-04-13, which may also be extended.
