Can Someone please explain how to file Service Tax return, I have already registered & there is no tax payable all Service tax collectd is adjusted against service tax paid. 1)Please explain how to fill up form for return & 2)what is cenvet credit. we are in to Business Auxillary Services - 3) can i file e-return ? 4) This time again the rates have changed from 12.36% to 10.36% so what is the effect on return ?

its gud that u have paid all servicetax .u file return twice in a year all u have to do is fill the details from service tax challan into service tax return.as far as change in rate is considered now u will have to charge service tax at 10.36% instead of 12.36% on services.

Actually service tax change the rate @ 10 @ w.e.f 24 th Feb"09 so actually come 10.30 instead of 10.36%
