Service tax regsitration

Hi,

  I woudl like to know how do i get regisestered for the Service tax payment..

  I am curebtly a private consultant and provide services to one of the IT companies in Blore.

 I would like to know how do i get registered for paying the service tax.. I am based in Banaglaore..

 I woudl appreciate any inputs on this.
