There is no Registration fees...

Simply fill up Form ST-I and submit to the superintendent of Central Excise of ur jurisdictrion and wait for 7 days to get your registration certificate

go to aces.gov.in and register first with your email id . they will send within a day the user id and password . with the id and password fill in st 1 form online and take a print out of the acknowledgement and submit to your area servce tax office with proof of ration card or business address proof and pan number xerox . if it is patnershipdeed and if it is company memorandum of association xerox copy . you will get information back to emai id within 7 days . it so simple

Pls. followup Mr. Sukumar's instructions and no need to pay any Deposit amount or Registration fees for getting Service tax registration number.
