one of my friend was registered under service tax in his name. nw he wants to get registered in his firm name. I have amended it online so do i need to file the hard copies also???

after taking ST1.i went to service tax registration office(relawent judistion) with hard copies.the they give ST2 to urs.......'
yes, you have to submit the business establishment documents as the person shown proprietor, with all documents needed for fresh regn. ( viz trade licence in favor of business name)
after getting documents they will amend the same.
