I paid service tax on the basis of raising invoice. However amount was not fully realised and the non recovered amount has gone bad (bad debts). Could i claim refund of service tax paid on the amount subsequently gone bad.

While claiming Bad Debts you are going to w/off the total invoice value which includes Service Tax so how can we claim service tax refund since the full inv value has been w/off - if i am correct,
