Finance Act of a particular year would be applicable for the May and Nov. examination of the next year. For instance, the amendments made by the Finance Act 2014 would be applicable for May, 15 and Nov.,15 examinations.
It means Service tax rate-12.36% is continue to applicable for Nov-15 exams.
As new rate of 14% amended by Finace Act 2015, hence applicable from May-16 exams.
You can refer Nov-14 edition of IDT study material which is applicable for May, 15 and Nov, 15 exams.
