I have received a notice with regard to payment of Service Tax for the year 2014-15.
Untill how many years can the GST department ask for the records of Income Tax? Can it ask for records of 2014-15 also?

Only if your turnover in previous year was below 10 lakhs.
You Pay Service Tax in All Amount if Your P.Y. T/O cross 10 Lakh Limite
Dear Aishwarya Kataria,
ST department can issue notice to verify for the period not more than 30 months from the date of notice. They can go beyond 30 months until 5 years only if they they have the grounds of fraud and willful misstatement or suppression of facts.
Section 73 deals with this.
