Dear Members,
I need clarification as to whether VAT or Service Tax or both will be applicable on Lease / Sub Lease of Immovable property in the following cases: -
1).Operating Lease of Immovable Property
2).Financial Lease of Immovable Property.
If possible plz provide some reference.

Under any VAT laws in India leasing of immovable property is not taxable.
