Service tax on service charge
hi, my client runs a club which gives guest rooms on rent .
In the bill given to customers, the club mentions the rental charge & sevice charge .
my question is should service tax be calculated on the rental recepit or on the gross value of the bill including SERVICE CHARGE.

if rent is below 1000 no service tax. of rental amount is more than 1000 then valuation will be on entire amount
