We are a institution exicuting various projects related to enviroment education. According to agreements we get funds for projects from projects funding agencies from whom we get our project. They cut TDS and give us amount. Are liable to pay service tax???? If yes then under Management Consultancy Service????
Agreements with funder says that it is Consultancy Assisnment for funding agency
I think it should be covered in event Management Services not in management consultancy services,,
"Event management" means any service provided in relation to planning, promotion,
organising or presentation of any arts, entertainment, business, sports, marriage or any
other event and includes any consultation provided in this regard [Section 65(40)].

no we are not managing any events we are executing full fleged projects which may span for a year
