One of my client is doing labour contract for laying tiles and granites for residential and commercial building. Whether pure labour contract for laying of tiles and granites attract service tax Liability?

Dear Sharma,
The new service tax provisions covers every activity other than those specifically mentioned in the negative list and mega exemption notification and your case is not covered under either of them. So i think it will be taxable for sure.
