Service tax is applicable if the services exceed 10.00 Lack. The rate of service tax is 10.3%.

yes u r liable to pay service tax but very first u get register under CBEC..... but u provide any services to individual  is exempt from service tax...........

Yes you are liable to service tax and as your turnover is exceed 15 lakh so acoount is required to audit...

Your representatoin service to business entity is taxable. If value of such service exceeds Rs.10L , you have tax liability.

Sir,

With reference to my above queries, My turnover above 15.00 Lakh preceeding F.Y. 2010-2011. But This F.Y. 2011-2012      ( April'2011 - Aug'2011) I raised professional bill Approx. 3.5 Lakh. Should I get service tax registration under CBEC or  not ? As per my knowledge this rules implement from May'2011.Plz solve this queris.

Prior to 01-05-2011 only business entity to business entity was taxable. Being individual lawyer, you are taxable from 01-05-2011only . You are eligible for basic exemption this year notwithstanding turnover during 10-11.
